Disco tonight for all and if you want to come and hear from Emma about the Teenage Brain please come for 7.45pm – the same start time as the P4-7 disco. Coffee and cake will be available for parents. We thank the Parent Council for their organisation again for the disco and for giving the P7s a brilliant send off.
If you are finding it difficult to feed your families and worried about the summer weeks when they won’t be at school, please see this local food poverty booklet. Don’t go short. If in doubt, please get in touch with them directly or with me.
Lunch on Thursday will be sandwiches – ham or cheese. Please let the school know as soon as possible if you pay for lunches and will be staying for lunch. We try to have lunch around 11.30 on the day so that all can leave together at 12 noon.
It’s never too late to learn…ever wanted to be a teacher? We had two students this year who live and work in the area but are learning, part time, to be teachers. Last Saturday they graduated and I promised I would put their photo on the school blog. Both of them wanted to get a place in our school and we would have taken them gladly but we have no vacancies. Well done, Ms Gray and Ms Harper! Some of you will know that I help students become teachers so if anyone is interested, please just get in touch with me.
Have a good week,
Aileen Mackay, HT
