This takes place each Thursday after school and is run by Miss Neilson.
Our first term in animation club has been a busy one. We have all designed and made our own monsters our of plasticine.
We have to learn about armature and how a wire skeleton in our model works just like our own- supports the weight of the monster and allows movement.
Here are some of our creations. Don’t they look fab.
Over the next few weeks we are learning how to create and present a storyboard. We watched the professionals from Pixar presenting Toy Story. Another good example is this deleted scene from Shrek.
Some of us are using Monsters’ Inc. as a stimulus for our movies, while others are using their imagination to come up with a creative setting and plot. I can’t wait for the storyboards to be finished.
