All the Primary 3 children made a visit to the School of Forestry at Balloch on Friday. The children had an hour long walk there and back. There were no complaints! They learnt about the work of the foresters, planting and cutting down trees and the tools they use. They also learnt about the wildlife of the forest and made nests, bird boxes and model dragonflies out of pegs and pipe cleaners. It was a really enjoyable day, not least spending time together in the outdoors. Well done to all the Primary 3s who represented the school so well and thank you to the parent helpers.
