Home Learning – Keeping in Touch!

Message from the Brown family to us all:

home school 4

Gabriel and Aria made their own schedules for learning and being helpful at home for when the blanket closures happen next week. We have particularly enjoyed our memory games like “I went to the shop” when getting some fresh air walking the dog and our morning yoga and doh disco. We even looked out some books we have been desperate to read together. As scary and unknown this time can be(daddy is stuck in Canada) it’s nice to have some uninterrupted time together to learn, explore and just BE. Stay safe and take care all Smithton staff, children, parents and carers #bettertogether.

Hope Mr Brown is safe and comes home soon!

A message from Bennie children to all Smithton families: keep up the amazing community support as we are all in this together x

I will update you tomorrow about plans for next week but rest assured that we will be keeping things as simple as possible. We have no idea what the future brings so let’s live and enjoy the moment in which we live. Next blog post will be a message from The Chief Executive which came to us a couple of hours ago after the speech made by John Swinney, Deputy First Minister and Minister for Education.

Enjoy your evening.

Aileen Mackay, HT
