Highland Heroes is an award scheme recognising the people in the Highlands who make a real difference to our communities, healthcare, education, safety and wellbeing.
We are delighted to announce that for her tremendous work in promoting sport and providing sporting opportunities for those with disabilities, last night Mrs Aitken was voted as Volunteer of the year –an individual who has been exceptional in volunteering their time and talents to help others.
