We trust this finds you safe and well, and keeping to the government guidelines. We’re delighted at the start of our health and well being week that the sun is shining! Snow yesterday, sun today….can’t beat the Scottish weather.
Here’s a copy of the whole school grid for this week to save you looking for it in previous blogs. See how many of your family you can get involved…I’ve sent it to some friends and family across Scotland and across the world so we’ll see if they take photos to prove they’ve been keeping active!
Highland Council has provided staff, pupils and parents with a digital hub full of resources and ideas for using online. While we are suggesting that you use online technology as little as possible this week to give yourselves a break, if you are looking for mental health support there are a number of suggestions. (Left hand side – click on well being) Our Emma Campbell, who has been helping with the Family Team and is now the Team Leader for Primary Mental Health across Highland, has made sure that these suggestions are useful and easy to use. I found this document really helpful to dip in and out of but there are some videos that you can use directly with young children, too.
Nursery activity for Monday is here or in current learning tab and HT learning summary poses the question, ‘What do you do when your child refuses to work?’ (Not that your child might refuse to do as you suggest….!)
Have a good week!
Aileen Mackay, HT
