Monday News

It’s the start of a new working week – trust all are well despite missing friends and family.

HT Learning summary is about reluctant writers this week and the first of our two nursery activities is available – second one on Thursday. Ideas are added daily to the Bumps2Bairns website which is put together by early years professionals as well as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists. Well worth a look if you are pregnant, have a baby, toddler or young child – literally ‘bumps to bairns’. More information on the ELC page of our school website tab above or at the side – depending on whether you are reading this from a phone, tablet or laptop.

Lots of us are using our outdoor exercise time on our bikes. Have you seen the sustrans website page? Full of great ideas and added to daily.

Remember this week that Friday is a public holiday. Instead of May Day this year councils agreed that VE (Victory in Europe) 75 years on would be celebrated instead. There will not be assembly or communication from school staff on Friday but I will put up a few family ideas for things to do on Friday and will make the school photo slides so keep sending your photos to me as we are loving seeing your children either spending quality time together or working hard.

Have a good week. Remember to keep in touch daily with your child’s teacher as he or she lets me know who is engaging or otherwise. When Mr West or I have to phone you because we haven’t heard from you it’s not that we are checking up on you as such – we just want to check that you are all well.
