In response to the poem that was shared in assembly last week, Isla in P4 has written her own response. Thanks so much for sharing with us!Read it for yourself.
I had a few videos that I wanted to share with you but they can’t be viewed outwith Highland Council email addresses unfortunately – I’m working on it and hoping to get them out on the blog for everyone to smile at.
At Smithton Primary we are keen to be creative, resilient and be problem solvers. So how can we continue with extra curricular clubs?! We are determined to give the young people who come along to clubs some ideas to keep them busy and motivated in their chosen clubs. Mrs McCormack and Mrs Aitken have got started with the new Outdoor/Now Indoor Explorers Club! Tap here to take you to their google page and we’re hoping to add more pages for the other clubs. I can’t thank staff enough for their determination!
Here is a selection of photos taken from around the ‘classrooms’ aka your homes and the Smithton area. Thank you so much, as always, for sending them in to us. The Star Awards were for terrific reasons this week and I’m so impressed with those who have been helping to keep their kitchen clean and tidy.
Your weekly comments are really helping us. I will share with staff and will try to take on board your really good suggestions as well as passing on your thanks and appreciation. Let’s keep up the momentum and keep working together.
Continue to stay safe and know that we’re here to help in what ever we can do – The Family Team, Staff and colleagues across the council. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Have a good weekend!
