Communication and Organisation!

This is Logan Fraser P7 working week, we’ve had a fun Mother’s Day putting it together!

How is your day looking? Try to keep to routines of getting up, breakfast, activities, breaks and regular bedtimes. We’ll be testing out video meetings so we can keep in touch with the young people so please keep checking your child’s virtual classroom.

These could be testing times for families living and working together in the same space. Any work we provide should be helpful and not cause angst. If you are feeling pressured please let your child’s teacher know or submit it in the weekly parent survey which will come out each Thursday, including during the holidays. If you are struggling please don’t hesitate to email me day or night. I will not be available 24h a day but I will try and answer your emails as soon as possible. The PEF Family Team remains in place and we have access to support from social work.

On the other hand, if you are finding the work is not enough, please let your child’s teacher know so that we can give you more or if you want to share your child’s learning, please send me photos or suggestions so we can put on the blog.

Remember you can collect a ‘grab and go’ lunch if you are P1-3 or are entitled to a free lunch P4-7 from Culloden Academy any time 11-2 daily. I am meeting with staff there to see if there is a way of collecting meals for those in self isolation as they obviously can’t go to Culloden. Please email me if you are in this category. aileen.mackay@highland.gov.uk
