Head Teacher’s Learning Summary available here.
Family walk in the woods this week on Saturday 11-12.30. Information available from Mrs MacCormack in the playground before school or from the school office. All families welcome! These sessions are great fun and also a good way to get to know people if you are new to the area.
As the weather continues to be changeable it’s good to make sure your child’s clothing is well labeled and hasn’t been washed off. We continue to try and get outside as much as possible at break times but also during the school day to make learning meaningful in the real world so make sure your child comes ready for all weathers! A change of clothing could be kept in your child’s school bag or PE bag.
Because of all the work the Rock Challenge crew put into the health and well being policy last session we have been able to put ourselves forward for the smoke free charter and pledge to have a smoke free environment for our community by 2034. Our new replacement for Rock Challenge, MADE (Making a Difference Ensemble) will be taking this forward before Easter..watch this space. If any parent or carer is trying to give up smoking or wants to meet with like minded people contact me in the first instance aileen.mackay@highland.gov.uk
