Bits and Pieces

Apologies for lack of communication this week – my emails and internet have been up and down all week. Scroll through for a wide variety of pieces of information.

Primary Dance October 2019

Thank you to those who came to our classroom sessions this afternoon – some parents wanted to stay!

Please note we have just been informed that our school will be used as a polling station 12th December. School will be closed to all ELC and school pupils.

Invitation p

We’re looking forward to having a short time of fun and chat on Saturday 30th November. Our Sing and Sign group will lead us and we’ll have a couple of dances and say a few words of thanks to our builders. It’s all for free so come along and explore our new building. If you have any photos from years gone by please send them in for us and we’ll copy them to display for all to see! It’s a long shot but if you know of any ceilidh musicians who would be willing to play for free or for a nominal charge please get them to contact me directly otherwise we’ll use our sound system.

George winning

Well done George, one of our ex pupils!

George competed in the Lemesia international FXTM Box Cup which was also an Olympic qualifier for qualifying age groups. He has to travel now as no one will fight George in Scotland.

George competed in the semi finals against a boy from Greece. After winning, he then fought a slick tough boy from Russia which was a fantastic fight and George took all 3 rounds unanimous and he is now the International Champion at the weight division of 56kg. We wish George well as he travels to Portugal in December. Keep ups posted, George!
