Helping in the community

It was a bit hectic, but a nice afternoon with some younger Outdoor Explorers from Smithton and their families. We all worked together with others from the community to plant bluebells and oak trees.

The Brownies and their friends have worked on the area around the shop and have still a bit to do…fancy volunteering?

There was also a meeting at the same time yesterday afternoon about meeting the food and emergency needs for our community. Watch out for a survey, which can be done anonymously, coming out in May. Smithton Residents Association, local churches, schools and health visitors all want to work alongside families to give everyone a good start in life.

Is there a better community than ours?!
