I am a scientist – ‘Tornado in a bottle’, ‘Monster toothpaste’ and the ‘Science of the cupcake’.

Science is an important part of Scotland’s heritage and happens all around us. We use its
applications every day in our lives, at work, leisure and at home. We want to encourage our children to develop  an interest in science from a young age so it was great to see so many parents/ carers join us for our science open afternoon earlier this week.

For those who were not able to make it, or who fancy trying some experiments of their own, please see the link below for a booklet aimed at parents/ carers which has some fun learning activities and experiments you can do at home.
