A Good New Year to Everyone!

Welcome to our new families that started in the nursery this week. We trust you will be relaxed with us and that your children will enjoy learning with us.

Weather remains kind to us at the moment but the forecast, I believe, is for snow next week. Thank you to all the parents who took part in the poll issued by the Parent Council last term. The decision was taken that if school has to close because of the weather then the school will close for the day rather than trying to open later in the day. 117 parents took part and 78% said to close for the whole day.

Extra Curricular messages from Lynne Fraser:

Wake Up Shake Up Dance – starts Friday 18th January 8am – 8.45 – open to all P1-P7s – no need to re-register for those already attending however if there is a change of contact or medical information please contact Lynne Fraser, Active Schools Coordinator 07795825603. There are spaces on this club so if your child would like to try a new activity you must complete a consent form (available from the school office) before attending the club.

Multi Sports – starts Wednesday 6th February – P2/P3 parents who previously registered for this club have been contacted and are aware of the start date and arrangements where the club coach will pick up their child after the school day from the classroom at 2.45pm prior to the club starting at 3pm. Parents must pick up their child(ren) at 3.45pm.
