This week I have been observing P2/3Jm, discussing learning with Mrs Morison and her pupils to find out what it’s like to be in that class.
I’ve been nable to hear from the children about how well they feel they’re listened to and helped by their teacher. I have observed their learning in writing and we have talked about setting ourselves targets in our learning and recognising our achievements. I can see that everyone is working on having a classroom that mirrors our school values and this is reflected in the class rules. A focus group shared with me how they and the class are starting to consider what we call ‘wellbeing indicators’ – are they safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, responsible, respected and included? Keep up the hard work P2/3 and remember to celebrate those achievements!
