Yesterday our P3 pupils got the wonderful opportunity to attend The Opera Factory – a brand new project that included a live performance, featuring singers, actors and The Orchestra of Scottish Opera.
What is an opera? Who performs in one? Who makes the stage set, costumes and lighting come alive to help tell the story? What are the musical groups within the orchestra? What’s it like inside a big theatre? These were just some of the questions discussed yesterday and hopefully the experience gave our pupils a taste for further musical experiences in the future.
