Lots of athletics, dance, rugby and football happening for our youngsters across the school – keep letting us know of their achievements, please! It cheers us all up.

Sports-Day-Poster

Sports and Health Week will begin on Monday the 28th of May and run until Friday 1st June.  The theme this time will be inclusion with all children across Nursery and P1-P7 having the opportunity to try something new.  The week will include Sports Day for both the school and nursery with the school event being held on Thursday 31st of May in the morning and the nursery running two Mini-Highland Games on Friday 1st June, one for the morning session and one in the afternoon.  Both these events are open to parents to come and support their children.

 

Parents are also invited to join with any of the activities running throughout the week.  Outlined below are some of the events what will be on offer. A more detailed timetable will follow once all times have been finalised.

 

P1-P7

Monday and Tuesday – Tennis

Wednesday and Friday – Orienteering

Thursday (am) – Sports Day (competitive races) PLEASE NOTE THATTHESE WILL BE MORNING RACES

 

All week:

  • Indoor Curling
  • Circuit Training
  • Relays
  • Boccia

 

Nursery

Friday – Mini-Highland Games (one morning and one afternoon)

Events will also be running through out each session all week
